Role will start off as contract and quickly convert. 12+ years Senior KnowBe4 Can work with Vendor, can implement , can work with vendors Has to be from Health Care/Phama Company Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Rapid7/Metasploit, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4 to join our security team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cybersecurity within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, who can seamlessly collaborate with vendors, implement cutting-edge security solutions, and strengthen our organization's security posture.Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Implementation & Management: Deploy, configure, and manage security tools, including Rapid7/Metasploit, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4 to monitor, detect, and mitigate threats. Lead efforts to enhance the organizations security framework by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate measures. Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with third-party vendors to evaluate, procure, and integrate security solutions into the existing IT infrastructure. Act as the primary point of contact for security-related vendor discussions, ensuring deliverables meet organizational requirements. Threat Analysis and Mitigation: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and weaknesses. Develop and implement effective remediation strategies for identified security gaps. Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using advanced tools and techniques. Security Awareness & Training: Utilize KnowBe4 to design and execute security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices. Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA cybersecurity guidelines. Proactively address security risks while maintaining a balance between security and business operations. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, compliance, and operations, to design and implement secure solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors. Expertise in deploying and managing Rapid7/Metasploit, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4. Proven ability to work with vendors for solution evaluation, implementation, and support. Strong knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity standards, such as HIPAA and NIST 800-53. Hands-on experience in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and endpoint protection. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and vendors. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and tools, including SIEMs, EDR, and network security solutions. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power) for automation and security tool customization.Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent.
