JavaScript/TypeScript Developer (API) We're looking for JavaScript/TypeScript developer: We seek a skilled and passionate JavaScript/TypeScript API Developer to join our growing team. You will be key in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and secure APIs that power our locking system. This role requires a strong understanding of server-side JavaScript/TypeScript, API security best practices, and experience with cloud deployment. Responsibilities : Design and develop high-performance, scalable APIs using Express and Node.js. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Implement and maintain API security measures, including encryption/decryption of sensitive data. Develop and execute unit and integration tests using Jest. Deploy and maintain APIs on Azure. Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine API specifications. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to APIs. Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and best practices. Qualifications : Proven experience developing APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Express, and Node.js. Solid understanding of API security principles and best practices, including encryption/decryption techniques. Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest. Familiarity with Azure services for deployment and management. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and data structures. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Points : Experience with other API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, OpenAPI). Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Contributions to open-source projects.
