Job Title: .NET Developer with Azure (H1B Consultant) Location: Cary, NC (or nearby locations) Employment Type: Contract Job Description: We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with Azure expertise to join our team for a contract-based opportunity. This position is specifically for H1B consultants. The role is based in Cary, NC, or nearby areas, and will require onsite presence with the possibility of remote work, depending on the clients requirements.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. Leverage Azure services and platforms for building cloud-based solutions and infrastructure. Work closely with cross-functional teams (including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners) to deliver high-quality software. Implement API integrations and manage web services using ASP.NET and Azure App Services. Create efficient and reusable code while maintaining strong performance and scalability. Collaborate in Agile development cycles and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in the production environment. Ensure effective security practices and compliance with industry standards. Document development processes, technical designs, and software configurations.Required Skills: Strong experience with .NET development, particularly with C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies. Solid experience working with Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage. Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on Azure. Proficiency in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React or Angular (preferred but not required). Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and non-relational databases (Cosmos DB). Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices architectures. Experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with Azure DevOps. Experience working in Agile environments, particularly with tools like JIRA and Confluence. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Docker. Certification in Azure Developer or related Azure certifications. Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, or Event Grid.
