Senior AWS Security Architect Atlanta GA -Hybrid 6 months We are seeking a Senior AWS Security Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructures. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to ensure the highest level of cloud security, risk management, incident response, and compliance in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities: Architect & Implement secure AWS solutions with best practices in IAM, encryption, and network security. Lead Security Strategy by assessing risks, performing vulnerability assessments, and enforcing security policies. Utilize AWS Security Tools (AWS Shield, GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, WAF) to detect and mitigate threats. Develop Incident Response Plans and lead root cause analysis & remediation of security incidents. Ensure Compliance with NIST, HIPAA, IRS, and SSA standards while driving audit readiness. Integrate Security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing for DevOps teams. Mentor Teams and promote a security-first culture across the organization. Stay Updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and AWS security advancements.Requirements: 15+ years in IT security with 10+ years securing AWS cloud infrastructures. AWS Certified Security Specialty and CISSP, CISM (Required). Expertise in AWS security best practices, IAM, encryption, and cloud compliance. Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, Bash, Power for security automation. Experience in penetration testing, threat hunting, and vulnerability assessments.
