Role Mainframe Migration Engineering Expert Type Contract Location Remote must be EST or CST Only USC and GC Job Overview: seeking a Mainframe consulting expert with hands-on experience in migrating z/0S from 2.1 to 3.1. Must have technical and leadership experience. Understand the workflows. should possess are z/0S, ZVM. Related tools/products including LPAR configuration, MQ Series (not a must have), DB2 COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and mainframe ISV software. Must Haves: Extensive subject matter expertise and team lead experience with IBM z/OS mainframe with experience in migration from 2.1 to 3.1 z/0S, ZVM Related tools/products including LPAR configuration, MQ Series (not a must have), DB2 COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and mainframe ISV software. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a fast-paced environment. Experience with various backup solutions and strategies. Ability to develop, teach and mentor other members of the team. Strong time-management and prioritization skills. Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
