Job Title: QA Architect with UFT(Unified Functional Test) Location: New York(Onsite) Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, reusable, and robust UFT automation frameworks. Define best practices for automation, including test case design, scripting, execution, and reporting. Establish a test automation roadmap aligned with business and technical goals. Identify opportunities for test automation across applications and implement efficient solutions. Develop complex UFT automation scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Integrate UFT with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and other CI/CD tools. Implement data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid automation frameworks. Enhance existing automation solutions by incorporating AI, machine learning, and self-healing test techniques. Work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to implement automation strategies. Mentor and train test engineers on UFT scripting, best practices, and framework usage. Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and automation planning. Analyze automation test results and optimize scripts for better performance and reliability. Ensure high test coverage and improve defect detection efficiency. Provide regular reports on automation progress, ROI, and recommendations for improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in software testing and 5+ years in UFT test automation. Expertise in VBScript, UFT One, and Micro Focus ALM. Strong experience in designing and implementing custom automation frameworks. Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions. Familiarity with API automation using UFT, RESTful services, and databases (SQL/Oracle). Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall). Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Micro Focus UFT Certification (e.g., UFT Certified Professional). Experience with AI-driven test automation tools. Knowledge of Python, Power, or Java for test automation. Experience in cloud-based test automation (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
