Job Title: DevOps Engineer (W/.Net or Java) Location: Austin, TX(Onsite) Duration: 12 months Interview: Skype/Phone Visa: Except GC/USC/GCEAD Candidates Job Description: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in .NET or Java to join our team. This role requires strong debugging and coding skills, as well as the ability to serve as a bridge between the Development and DevOps teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting deployment issues, optimizing system performance, and collaborating closely with developers to enhance application reliability and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or software development role. Strong programming skills in .NET (C#) or Java (required for debugging and coding tasks). Experience with IAAS, SNE, PCF platforms, along with expertise in SQL Server, Oracle DB, Mongo DB, Rabbit MQ and other related technologies. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Harness, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket and bamboo. Proficiency with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) is a must and knowledge on GCP or other Cloud platforms is preferred Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana. Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments. Experience with troubleshooting Production issues through analysis of logs (Splunk), dashboards and metrics. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex infrastructure and application issues. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively between development and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Act as a bridge between DevOps and Development teams, ensuring smooth collaboration. Debug and troubleshoot production and pre-production issues across infrastructure, application, and CI/CD pipelines. Write and review code in .NET or Java to support deployment automation, monitoring, and performance optimizations. Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment. Real world CI/CD experience with tools: GitHub, Git Actions, Bitbucket and Bamboo Monitor system health, application logs, and infrastructure performance, proactively resolving issues. Working in one or more database, Oracle, SQL, Mongo DB. Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices in DevSecOps. Optimize application performance, resource utilization, and deployment strategies. Document processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for cross-team reference.
