Job Title: Mainframe Developer (IMS DB & CICS) Location: Wilmington, DE (Local and nearby states) Work Type: 5 Days Onsite Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (FTC) Visa- H1b/H4EAD on C2C Job Description: We are seeking a Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in IMS DB and CICS to join our team. The role requires hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. The candidate must have deep knowledge of IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and Changeman/Endeavor along with the ability to support a 13x7 rotation schedule.Key Responsibilities: Perform L3 support, maintenance, and operational activities for mainframe applications. Develop, debug, and maintain code in a large corporate environment. Support weekend and rotational shifts, including 2 PM to 11 PM shifts once a month. Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure seamless system operations. Implement agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices. Utilize IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions and API creation using z/OS Connect & Kafka.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 8+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development. Strong knowledge of IMS DB and CICS profiles. Expertise in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and Changeman/Endeavor. Familiarity with software development life cycle and agile methodologies. Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS is a plus. Strong understanding of support processes and production maintenance.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Exposure to modern front-end technologies. Knowledge of banking and credit card domains.
