From: Nihitha, GAC Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Test case design and creation Based on the new/updated software requirements for the scope of the Medical Device Application Software release, Perform the Test design/ planning for requirements coverage created using the Windchill RV&S Test management software tool. Test design documents to be linked to relevant software requirements for traceability. Complete the Test case planning and Test development activity in assigned timelines. Test automation Design and create automation Test Scripts to automate the Manual Test Designs and Test Protocols based on the Software Architecture using the Test Automation framework developed by Abbott (Python/Squish). Test scripts to be submitted for review using the SWARM tool. Test Scripts to be versioned controlled using the Perforce software tool. Test maintenance to be done for daily script executions and reported failures from the automation batch runs. Test case reviews Proper Test guideline/standards to be followed while developing the Test Designs/Protocols and Test Scripts (and to be version controlled in Windchill RV&S). Discuss with Peer Reviewer (Customer side subject matter expert) and Cross functional team on the completeness of Test scenarios and incorporate any recommended changes/updates. Verification execution and regression testing Test cases which are reviewed and approved for complete software requirement coverage are to be dryrun/executed multiple times on the several interim Application (proprietary) software builds obtained from DevOps/Jenkins build tools. Manual Test Executions are to be recorded in Test Sessions using the Windchill RV&S tool with capturing objective evidences (Test Artifacts). Post Test Executions, for the identified software application issues are to be logged in the JIRA Defect management tool and tracked for correct resolution with re-execution. Developed Test Scripts are to be self Dryrun executed for consistency and also in Batch execution on standard application setup. All the Test results are to be inspected for accurate software requirements verification. Different anomaly reports generated from Windchill RV&S tool are to be analyzed for same. Post the formal (final) run of all Tests, the Test results are to be Pre-Audited for completeness of the documentation/Objective evidences and marking of the correct test annotations using the PDF copies generated from the Windchill RV&S tool (any findings are to be reported for rectification/test re execution). Automation Framework update Provide support in creation of the function library (automation framework) using python and in maintaining the automation framework. Identify the issues pertaining to framework library modules, report for fixing. Identify optimization scope (improvements/obsolete) of different framework elements/object repositories.
