This role involves evaluating, designing, and guiding technology solutions to align with business objectives. The architect will work with stakeholders across various teams to ensure compatibility, security, and efficiency in system deployments. Required Qualifications : 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect with expertise in large-scale custom Java EE web applications. Strong background in system infrastructure, including UNIX, Java, WebLogic, and Oracle databases. Experience designing enterprise-level architectures for mission-critical systems. Extensive experience leading teams of architects, developers, and analysts on large-scale projects. Strong systems analysis skills across the full project lifecycle. Ability to develop technical requirements for procurement and RFPs. Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and hybrid cloud architectures Experience working in environments with multiple data centers, including on-prem, hosted, SaaS, and cloud. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences. Strong experience in policy development and consensus-building among diverse stakeholders. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience migrating data centers from hosted to cloud-based environments. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements Background in public sector IT environments, particularly state government agencies. Candidates must provide their own laptop equipped with full disk encryption and software including Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio. Candidates must also provide a mobile phone for work-related communication.
