Position : ACI Network Engineer Location : Hybrid (Onsite 2 days a week), Rosemead, California Duration: 6+ month contract Visa: Only USC/gc/ead Interview: Video Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), routing, and switching. This role combines engineering and operational responsibilities, including implementation, support, and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: ACI Engineering and Operations: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and support Cisco ACI solutions. Transition ACI solutions seamlessly into operational environments. Provide ongoing support to the operations team for efficient ACI infrastructure management. Routing and Switching: Manage and optimize network routing and switching configurations to ensure high availability and performance. Work with protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP. Firewall Management: Work closely with firewall teams to integrate and manage firewall solutions within the network infrastructure. Automation and Runbooks: Identify opportunities for network automation and streamline processes. Develop and maintain runbooks for operational efficiency. Topology Mapping: Assist in network topology mapping using tools like Broadcom Spectrum Topology Management Suite to provide accurate network representations. Qualifications: Network Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP). Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting. Cisco ACI Experience: Proven experience in setting up and managing a Cisco ACI Fabric. Programming & Automation: Experience in automating Cisco ACI environments, preferably using Terraform. Certifications: Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills: Broadcom Spectrum Experience: Familiarity with the Broadcom Spectrum Topology Management Suite for network topology mapping and management.
