Job Title: Java Developer with Azure Entra ID Experience Location: Cary NC (Local) Or Nearby State Employment Type: [Contract] Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with experience in Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java programming and experience integrating Azure Entra ID for identity management, authentication, and authorization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and support secure, scalable applications while leveraging Azure Entra services.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java applications with integration to Azure Entra ID for user authentication, authorization, and identity management. Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols for secure authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Azure Entra ID. Work with business analysts and security teams to design and implement security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC) using Azure Entra services. Design and develop secure APIs using Java Spring Boot and integrate them with Azure Entra ID for seamless identity management. Implement Azure Entra Conditional Access policies for securing access to cloud-based applications and services. Build and maintain RESTful services and integrate them with Azure AD B2C or B2B for external users access management. Work with Azure SDKs, Microsoft Graph API, and other tools to retrieve and manipulate data from Azure Entra ID. Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous integration and deployment using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for identity and access management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Entra ID integration and authentication. Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and optimizing the identity-related features of Java applications.Required Skills: Strong experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Security. Hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML for authentication and authorization. Familiarity with Azure AD B2C and Azure AD B2B for managing external identities. Experience implementing SSO (Single Sign-On) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) using Azure Entra ID. Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration with identity services.
