The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Juniper routers, firewalls, Junos OS, and other Juniper network devices. This role requires a strong understanding of network design, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization in enterprise and service provider environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize Juniper-based networking solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Configure and maintain Junos OS on Juniper devices for large-scale network environments. Lead the deployment and integration of Juniper routers and firewalls in both physical and virtualized environments. Perform network performance tuning and implement monitoring tools to detect and resolve network issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security, scalability, and efficiency in line with organizational goals. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior network engineers, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques. Prepare and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. Participate in network capacity planning and future-proofing initiatives to accommodate growing business needs. Stay updated on the latest Juniper technologies, network trends, and best practices to ensure the team leverages cutting-edge solutions. Required Skills and Experience: 9-10 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Juniper networking solutions. In-depth experience with Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and Junos OS. Strong understanding of network design, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), and network security practices. Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus. Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow) and troubleshooting tools. Proven ability to work in large, complex, and fast-paced network environments. CCNP, JNCIP, or other relevant certifications preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Desired Skills: Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and network automation tools. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid network environments. Experience with VPN technologies and WAN optimization.
