You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative learn-to-rank (LTR) solutions to power our search engine, ensuring our customers find the products they need quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities: 1.Lead the development and implementation of LTR models: Develop and refine complex LTR models using cutting-edge techniques, including deep learning, ranking algorithms, and feature engineering. 2.Design and manage the data pipeline: Collaborate with engineers to design and implement a robust data pipeline for collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for training LTR models. 3.Conduct A/B testing and analyze results: Design and execute A/B testing experiments to evaluate the performance of new LTR models and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. 4.Optimize search relevance and user experience: Analyze user behavior data to identify opportunities to improve search relevance, enhance user satisfaction, and drive conversions. 5.Stay abreast of industry trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in LTR research and machine learning to continually improve our solutions. 6.Mentor junior data scientists: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and learning. Qualifications: 1.Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. 2.5+ years of experience developing and implementing LTR solutions in a production environment. 3.Deep understanding of various LTR algorithms, including LambdaMART, RankNet, and LightGBM. 4.Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. 5.Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable data pipelines. 6.Experience with A/B testing and data analysis for measuring model performance. 7.Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 8.Passion for e-commerce and a deep understanding of user behavior. NICE TO HAVE: 1.Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP OR AWS or Azure. 2.Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) and search relevance metrics .
