Job Description: Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Networking who will be responsible for implementing highly scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud and On-Premises environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. As a member of the team, you will work alongside reliability teams to ensure site reliability and that all releases seamlessly move from development through staging and into production. Position Requirements-What we are really looking for: Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role in a large-scale environment. Experience in the planning, design, deployment and support of LAN/WAN/SDWAN/Spine and Leaf and IP architectures. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software solutions including deploying network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, LAN Switching Technologies, Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet preferred), and Load Balancing (F5 preferred), etc. Extensive experience in traditional route/switch, Wireless technologies, VPN, SSL, DNS, DHCP, and ISE. Conduct network security assessments & recommend remediation actions. Hands-on experience with network security. Design and maintain security controls for network infrastructure. Enhance security monitoring and detection systems to identify abnormal behavior. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively. Experience utilizing a public cloud solution (Azure, AWS, GCP) Prior experience working with industry network tools: monitoring (Splunk, NetScout, Zabbix), management (Prime, ISE, Aruba Central), inventory management (Netbox, IPAM), and DNS solutions. Design and implementation experience related of DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) solutions will be preferred. Scripting experience with scripting languages (python, GO, Power) and tools (versioning, GitHub) as well as experience utilizing REST APIs, JSON, and YAML. Experience with multiple hardware/software platforms such as: Cisco Fortinet F5 NetScout Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication. Experience working with Agile methodologies. Monitor and Troubleshoot network performance and integrity. Resolve escalated issues by troubleshooting both cloud and local infrastructure. Automate tasks and assess their effectiveness. Education and/or Experience: Great knowledge of network architecture design and/or solution engineering of data center 2+ years of network design or administration involving cloud infrastructure [AWS, Azure, Google, etc.] 2+ years of scripting or coding experience with one or more languages 8+ years of relevant IT experience in large/complex IT architecture environments 4-year degree in IT related course of study Preferred Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP etc.).
