From: Prashant Yadav, ITECS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: SAP Tax Specialist Seeking for a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Location: Metro Atlanta, GA Visa: No OPT/CPT Job Summary: We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) SAP Tax Specialist with proven expertise in SAP implementations in the Latin America (LatAm) region. This role requires technical proficiency, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and localization requirements particularly in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. Strong SAP skills to design, implement, and support tax-related functionality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP tax solutions, with a focus on Argentina, Brazil and Mexico specific requirements, including VAT, withholding taxes, and electronic invoicing (e.g., AFIP reporting requirements in Argentina). Ensure SAP system complies with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, purchasing, and IT, to gather tax-related requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Support end-to-end testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring tax compliance functionality meets business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP tax configurations and processes. Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Provide training and support to end-users on SAP tax functionalities and regulatory updates. Monitor changes in LatAm tax regulations and implement necessary updates in SAP systems to maintain compliance. Serve as a subject matter expert for tax compliance within SAP, advising on best practices and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. 7+ years of experience working with SAP tax modules and configurations, including FI and SD tax components. Proven experience with SAP rollouts in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, including handling VAT, withholding taxes (e.g., AFIP reporting requirements in Argentina). Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Strong understanding of Argentina, Brazil and Mexicos tax laws, compliance requirements, and business practices. Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. Proficiency in SAP tools and frameworks for tax reporting and electronic invoicing. Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving tax-related challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Located in or willing to relocate to the Metro Atlanta area. Experience with SAP integration for electronic invoicing and third-party tax systems.
