Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand technical and business requirements, translating them into cloud architecture. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of architects, engineers, and developers. Evaluate and recommend new AWS services, tools, and best practices to improve system architecture and performance. Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions on AWS. Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and ensure adherence to cloud best practices. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost. Perform architectural reviews and provide guidance on designing and deploying solutions using AWS technologies. Ensure cloud security and compliance, working closely with the security team to adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide troubleshooting support and resolve performance issues for AWS-based applications. Keep up to date with the latest AWS features, releases, and trends in cloud technologies. Expertise in core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, VPC, etc.). Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS). In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions. Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and optimization. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred), or other relevant AWS certifications. Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus. Experience in designing and managing microservices architectures. Familiarity with data engineering and big data tools on AWS (Redshift, Athena, Glue, etc.). Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages. Experience working with agile methodologies.
