.NET Developer (Contract) Location: Cary, NC (Local candidates preferred; Nearby relocation acceptable) Duration: 12+ Months (Contract) Visa: H1B Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our development team on a contract basis in Cary, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using .NET technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to complex, impactful projects in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy web-based applications and services using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, etc.). Design and implement backend services and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and business analysts, to ensure a seamless development process. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. Design and maintain SQL databases, including writing stored procedures and optimizing queries. Develop and integrate third-party APIs as needed. Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of professional experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including writing and optimizing queries. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS (Experience with Angular or React a plus). Experience with version control tools, preferably Git. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
