Active Directory Management & Administration: o Understand AD architecture, including domains and forests. 2. Group Policy User and access management o Design, create, troubleshoot, and implement GPOs to enforce security and configuration policies (e.g., password policies, and user rights assignments). 3. Active Directory Services & Protocols: o In-depth understanding of LDAP, LDAPS, ADSI Edit, Ldp.exe, Power o Create, implement and troubleshoot Certificates and related issues o Knowledge of how Kerberos authentication and its troubleshooting 4. User & Account and Access Management: o Create, modify, and disable user accounts in AD using Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) or Power scripts. o Implement and manage logon-off startup and shutdown scripts o Manage security groups and assign permissions to resources using Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Delegation of Control. o Set up and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to enforce least privilege access. 5. Power Scripting: o Write Power scripts to automate repetitive tasks such as user provisioning, group assignments, password resets, and GPO management. o Use Active Directory Power cmdlets for reporting and management. 6. Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS): o Set up and maintain ADFS to support single sign-on (SSO) for federated identity management between trusted domains or external partners. o Troubleshoot ADFS authentication issues and integration with third-party applications (e.g., Office 365, SaaS applications). 7. Azure Active Directory (AAD) Integration: o Knowledge of Azure AD and integration between on-premises AD and Azure Active Directory via Azure AD Connect. o Experience with password synchronization, federated authentication, and Hybrid Azure AD Join for seamless cloud and on-prem identity management. 8.
