The successful candidate, is expected to engage with internal teams to define specifications, ensure RFI, timeline and milestone tracking, and coordination of project goals. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Engineer who wants to play a critical role in the planning, organization, execution, and management of high-end, scalable software solutions to fit both the companys and clients needs. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills they will employ with internal teams to translate complex requirements into actionable scope and deliverables. They must also be highly organized with the ability to keep track of multiple simultaneous projects within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Oversee Hybrid onshore/offshore development team, quality assurance, to provide technical direction on systems analysis, design and development for fintech application Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution into the production environment. Oversee documentation of technical requirements, develop, and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures. Lead proactive implementation of code reviews, software design sessions, and architectural reviews. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required. Ensure effective handoff to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure an increase level of code reuse and contribute to the growth and use of the knowledge library. Mentor team leads, fostering a learning and growth environment. Develop and maintain product backlog, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps, and adhere to defined scopes of work Represent projects at required internal and external meetings, ensuring priorities are clear and any progress/delays/issues are reported Monitor progress and performance of product deliverables Be able to both lead and take direction as an effective team player Escalate key decisions, issues, risks, and opportunities to achieve project objectives Minimum Requirements: A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent. 5 years of experience in a software development, 2 years in a lead role. 5 years experience using web development tools and architectures such as: C#, Python, .Net, Java, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes and micro-services. 5 years experience Cloud Computing: AWS Preferred. - and CI/CD Pipelines Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle, and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple development projects. Ability to meet stated customer- initiated deadlines. Demonstrated success in the leading and managing of people in a software development environment.
