Title : DATABASE EXPERT Location : Remote Duration : 12+ month contract Visa : USC Job Description Looking for: - ROCK STAR o Not just good at developing, but good a consulting between teams and floating around proper soft skills o May be an Architect level o Database design --- not writing ETL code, not running back up or DR o Some hands on work (up to 30-40% writing code/trying out code strategies) --- 60%+ will be oversight - Postgres needs some at least (the more the better) o Azure and SQL are good but Postgres is top priority - GraphQL a good understanding will be a big plus o All the access to the database is through GraphQL o Understands how it interacts with SQL and queries o Not required but huge plus - More senior level think like 10+ years MORE DATABASE EXPERT THAN DATA ENGINEER APP DEVELOPMENT SIDE rather than infrastructure side.
