Mention your consultant visa status also Google Apigee consultant Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA or Remote API Design and Development: Create API specifications, including data models, endpoints, and security protocols using Apigee tools. Build and configure API proxies on the Apigee platform to manage API traffic and implement business logic. Utilize JavaScript or other supported languages within Apigee to write custom policies for request/response manipulation. API Lifecycle Management: Manage API versions, lifecycle transitions, and deprecation strategies. Monitor API performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues. Implement API security measures like OAuth, rate limiting, and access controls. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand API requirements. Provide technical guidance and documentation on API usage and best practices. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate API deployment and monitoring processes. Required Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and API security standards. Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apigee API Management platform. Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or other programming languages for writing custom API policies. Experience with API analytics and monitoring tools to identify usage patterns and optimize performance. Familiarity with concepts like microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
