How many years working with: D evelop data models, ETL packages, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices *** We need: A senior Administrator with e xtensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics including 10+ years of experience in managing BI platforms including Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quicksight. They must have experience with Python programming, Scripting, and Power Scripting, working on various product APIs to automate Admin functions and setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate. Candidates must have heavy Azure, Data and CI/CD using Jenkins. **Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local. Required Location: Hybrid/ Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX 3 days a week. Candidates must be LOCAL to the Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX area and COMMUTE into the office THREE TIMES A WEEK. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED. Requirements Extensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics. 10+ years of experience in managing BI platforms including Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quicksight. Experience in designing and delivering complex platform architectures. Extensive experience with Python programming, Scripting, and Power Scripting. Identify and implement various automation solutions using scripting. Have worked on various product APIs to automate Admin functions. Extensive knowledge and experience on setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate. Have worked on configuring OAuth, SAML configurations for SSO implementation. Experience in defining SDLC processes and CI/CD processes using Jenkins. Integrating Looker with a Git repo for code commits. Extensive knowledge and experience with platform governance and resiliency. Power BI Service architecture design and administration including but not limited to Azure and Power BI Administration, PBI Premium Capacity Administration, and extensive knowledge of Power BI Premium Service as a whole and how to troubleshoot and find opportunities for automation to streamline the day-to-day operations of the platform. Experience with Looker Setup and Administration. Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle. Data Modeling experience with Kimball method. Experience with more than one database tool such as Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server. Understanding of various external components that BI tools depend on for successful connectivity, including understanding of Network, Firewall, Proxy, etc. Integrating Power BI with different tools, including but not limited to Splunk, Collibra, ServiceNow. Understanding of pre-requisites for a successful connection setup. Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles, vendor documentation, whitepapers, and community publications. A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills. Ability to lead complex projects. Certifications Work closely with internal IT, Server, and Security teams to troubleshoot, including reviewing logs and resolving issues with production/non-production environments. Work independently and provide solutions to users. Manage Power BI Gateways to keep the dashboards and reports refreshed automatically.
