Job Title Functional Tester with hands-on experience in FTM (Financial Transaction Management) Location Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Job Type Contract C2C/W2 Job Role and Responsibilities: Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester with hands-on experience in FTM (Financial Transaction Management) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of applications within the financial domain, particularly focusing on FTM systems, by creating, executing, and managing comprehensive test cases. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure seamless testing processes and flawless end-user experiences. Key Responsibilities:o MUST - Knowledge in payment and other banking related business transactions using IBM FTM for items and checks deposits.o Develop detailed functional test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories related to FTM systems.o Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing on FTM systems and related applications. o Execute manual tests for FTM-based functionalities, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.o Validate financial transaction flows, ensuring data integrity and correct transaction processing across the system. Requirements: Experience:o Minimum of 3 years of experience as a functional tester, with a strong focus on financial transaction management (FTM) systems.o Solid understanding of FTM concepts, transaction flows, and financial data processing.o Hands-on experience in functional testing of financial applications, payment systems, or transaction processing systems. Skills:o Proficient in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, etc.).o Strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC processes.o IBM FTM Tool good knowledgeo Familiarity with SQL for database testing and validation of transactional data.o Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
