If you are interested, please reach out to me on [email protected]/ 9732409524 to discuss more about the position Role: Data Engineer Location: Remote (EST,CST) Duration: 6+ months VISA: USC Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Fabric Implementation : Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft Fabric environments in Azure. Apply your hands-on experience with Fabric to implement and manage data lake architectures, Databricks, Synapse, and Delta Lake, ensuring the system supports modern data workloads. Data Platform Modernization : Oversee the migration and transformation of data platforms into modern architectures using Microsoft Fabric. Lead the implementation of medallion architectures (bronze, silver, gold layers) and optimize operational reporting processes. OneLake Integration & Optimization : Leverage Microsoft OneLake for unified data storage and management, ensuring smooth integration with Microsoft Fabric. Enable seamless data lakes architecture across the platform, optimizing storage, retrieval, and processing of data. Architecture Design & Optimization : Work with customer technical teams to align use cases with the new architecture, delivering scalable, efficient, and secure data management solutions using Fabric and OneLake. Security & Governance : Establish strong data governance frameworks and implement security measures within Azure Fabric. Work with tools like Microsoft Purview to ensure that data is cataloged, protected, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Technical Enablement & Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers' technical teams throughout the migration process. Document architectural decisions and provide ongoing support to ensure the success of data modernization initiatives. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest Fabric features and functionalities, exploring emerging technologies and implementing best practices to ensure customers are leveraging Microsoft Fabric to its fullest potential. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in cloud platform modernization, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft OneLake, Azure Databricks, and Delta Lake. Expertise in configuring and managing data platforms in Azure, including building and optimizing medallion architectures. Strong knowledge of data security practices and governance frameworks, with hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview. Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform modernization, and data engineering practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to guide technical teams through complex implementations.
