Must have 5+ Years of retail experience RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in formal design sessions with both onsite and offshore teams Development activities related to IBM Sterling Commerce Order Management configuration and customization Participate in the on-call rotation for production support Ability to lead and participate in the development, configuration and performance tuning of systems Adopt best practices and coding standards and perform code reviews Provide detailed weekly task reports to reporting manager Development activities related to Spring boot and other java related technologies (good to have) Quality, on time delivery of committed deliverables Flexible in working under changing and uncertain work schedules Other responsibilities as assigned Must have: Deep understanding of Sterling OMS functions - Sourcing & Scheduling, Inventory, Payments, SDF, Custom APIs & SOM. Cloud experience - especially sterling containerization in a public cloud like AWS or GCP. OMOC experience is also acceptable. Sterling build and deployment process Hands on coding experience using Java QUALIFICATIONS: BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or related field 7+ years Software Development experience with at least 5 years of recent development in Sterling commerce version 10 Hands on experience with public cloud and containerized version of sterling OMS. Clear understanding of sterling build and deployment process Technology experience with B2C web commerce software and order fulfillment/ distribution center systems a plus Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
