Cyber Security Risk Management Analyst (Contract) Location: St. Louis, MO (On-site) Duration: 6+ Months (Contract) Visa: H1B Sponsorship Available Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Risk Management Analyst to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role involves identifying, assessing, and managing security risks to safeguard our digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cyber risk management, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies, while working in a regulated environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in protecting sensitive information and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments and security audits across IT systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats. Work with stakeholders to develop risk management strategies, including risk identification, assessment, and prioritization. Implement and monitor security controls to reduce the exposure to cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Evaluate security incidents and provide recommendations for mitigating future risks through enhanced security practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk management processes are integrated into the organization's overall security framework. Assist in creating and implementing security governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) policies and procedures. Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence to proactively adjust security strategies. Provide regular reports and metrics on security risks, incidents, and mitigation activities for leadership and stakeholders. Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential gaps in security controls. Work with vendors and third-party service providers to assess and manage third-party risks, ensuring security requirements are met. Lead efforts in assessing and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). Provide guidance and training to other teams on risk management processes, incident response, and best practices. Collaborate with IT teams on patch management, data protection, and incident response plans to mitigate security threats.
