This is contract position, please revert me with updated resume if this JD matches your profile and you are interested, Title: QA Engineering Lead (Hybrid) Location: New Port Richey, FL Duration: 6+ Months Visa : Only USC & GC Job Description: This position will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will be based just outside of Tampa Bay in New Port Richey, FL. Local candidates are preferred and may work a hybrid schedule. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: Leadership and Team Management Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Allocate resources, define team goals, and monitor performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the development pipeline. Quality Assurance Strategy Define and implement QA strategies, policies, and best practices to ensure product reliability. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Oversee functional, performance, security, and regression testing activities. Automation and Tools Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. Identify, implement, and manage QA tools to streamline testing efforts. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback. Testing and Process Optimization Independently conduct device testing and validate features for production deployments. Collaborate on device integration testing with team members. Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and product reliability. Reporting and Continuous Improvement Monitor, track, and promptly resolve QA issues and bugs. Provide regular updates on QA progress, risks, and product quality to leadership. Stay current with industry trends and integrate innovative QA methodologies. Qualifications KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership and Team Management Quality Assurance Strategy Automation and Tools Testing and Process Optimization Reporting and Continuous Improvement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in software QA hands-on testing; manual and automation, with at least 3+ years in a lead role. 5+ years of strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. 5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. 5+ years experience working on testing cloud applications hosted as AWS or Azure. 5+ years of experience in working in agile development framework. 3+ years of experience in source code management tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps. 3+ years of exp in tools like VS code, Workbench, postman, swagger UI, Chrome developer tools, JMeter. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts. Ability to think critically and independently to make informed decisions. WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Normal office work environment.
