Strong expertise in PeopleTool, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and Workflow. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle) within a PeopleSoft environment. Prior experience working directly with finance and business teams to support EOP and resolve time-sensitive data issues. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot PeopleSoft financial transaction errors and implement timely fixes. Familiarity with PeopleSoft security concepts, system configuration, and financial controls. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and cloud migration (e.g., Oracle Cloud Fusion). Knowledge of IT Change Control processes, SDLC, and deployment methodologies. Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps methodologies. Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Software Engineer Level 3 specializing in PeopleSoft development with a strong technical and functional understanding of financial business modules (AR, AP and GL) to join our Finance Technology team. This role is ideal for a problem-solving developer who excels in urgent, high-pressure business support, particularly before and during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing cycles. The successful candidate must have extensive experience working closely with business teams to address critical system and data issues promptly, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Additionally, this role requires deep expertise in PeopleSoft coding, including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and SQL. This position requires working in the EST time zone and being on-site four days a week at our North Bethesda, MD location.
