The team manages mid-layer services across the organization and external partners, requiring a highly experienced Lead Java Engineer with cloud expertise. Required Qualifications: Must have prior lead experience 9+ years of engineering experience 3+ years as a lead engineer 6+ years of experience with Java 8 or later (Java 21+ preferred) 6+ years as a full-stack engineer 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot 3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or Red Hat) 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL 3+ years of experience with CI/CD 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks (JBehave, Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit) 3+ years of experience with data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, NATS, Messaging, etc.) 2+ years of experience with React 2+ years of experience in architecture and design Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives) Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with Elastic Search 2+ years of experience with Spark and Python 2+ years of experience in observability/monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, EKS, etc.) 2+ years of experience with Apigee Job Responsibilities: Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies and lead the delivery of the strategic roadmap. Define project scope & specifications and estimate required resources. Ensure clear articulation of specifications and requirements to development teams while monitoring progress. Propose technical solutions and lead their implementation. Deliver high-quality, fully functional, and properly tested features, fixes, and enhancements. Oversee the full application development lifecycle and provide ongoing support. Define and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Investigate new technologies and present findings for architectural review. Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
