Beneficial: Subject matter expertise and understanding of Products, Materials, Bill of materials, suppliers, or supply chain for an organization, working with the product lifecycle management application.
The biggest part of the project is what we call a vertical product, which is client owned and operated product. But there is a component to making updates for licensing partners--that scope is a little bit smaller and simpler. For publishing, it's more about defining the UI requirements, and assisting with wire frames.
Those partners will typically be doing self-reporting in applications, nothing advanced. With a vertical product, there's going to be significant changes with our product lifecycle management application.
Tool is called flex PLM. Exposure to Flex PLM is beneficial, but the most critical piece is really the ability to elicit requirements. Individual will document everything, be organized, work with a project managers, other product owners, HM, developers, and offshore teams. Must be able to articulate what the project is about, what the requirements are.
The next phase of project will recapture very specific acceptance criteria that allows us to complete the test on our side and to prepare for the user acceptance testing (UAT) eventually.
