From: AJAY, KK Software Associates [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Role :- SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Project Manager Work Location:- TCS - SF or Atlanta -Onsite (Prefer 1-3 days in office) Role Description: Competencies: Digital : SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Experience (Years): 8-10 Essential Skills: Job Family Group: Finance Job Family: Revenue Recognition- Senior Manager Management Level: Independent Contributor Locations: Either SF or ATL In this role, the Senior Manager- Revenue Recognition will be a key contributor on the technical accounting team primarily supporting SFDCs SSP program. This role heavily focuses on supporting the companys SSP program and includes data and process enhancement projects. This individual will be a subject matter expert in the companys ASC606 policies, products, and revenue system. The Senior Manager will provide support to our internal revenue team and business partners. The Senior Manager will be tasked with enhancing existing processes as well as reviewing/advising on compliant ways to and implement new go to market initiatives. This role is an independent contributor. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment working across many different functions including finance, product, Deal Desk, and BT! Prepare or review revenue recognition assessments related to key SOX controls over the companys SSP methodologies. Lead revenue analysis and preparation of metrics to enhance SSP insights, identify trends, and surface trends to leadership and business partners. Participate in cross-functional work streams to ensure risks related to SSP program are mitigated. Support audit requests from internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth quarterly and year-end review and audit processes. Lead process design and system implementation related to new product offerings or M&A to ensure scalable revenue processes. Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend solutions. Implement and enhance automation to drive efficiency for the SSP program. Draft memos and presentations to gain alignment with and influence the teams business partners. Provide technical accounting support to Revenue Management Teams Qualifications Degree in accounting or relevant field; MBA or Masters degree is a plus. CPA designation is highly desirable. 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 3+ years focused on revenue recognition or revenue accounting. Experience in a public company environment, with familiarity in working under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and SEC reporting Strong background in applying ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and other relevant accounting standards. Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and solve problems in ambiguous environments.
