Job Title: QA Tester Location: Raleigh, NC Job Type: Full-Time Visa Type: H1B Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with experience in the domain to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of applications and systems by designing, developing, and executing test plans and scripts. This role will involve working closely with business analysts, developers, and project teams to validate functionality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements. Perform manual and automated testing applications, including transaction processing, account management, and security features. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as PCI DSS, SOX, and GDPR during the testing process. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process. Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to ensure the system can handle expected transaction volumes. Provide support for testing of system enhancements, defect fixes, and production issues. Ensure that all testing is completed on time, and that it meets the quality standards and client expectations. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing, with a focus on the Services industry. Strong knowledge of services processes, including transaction processing, financial regulations, and security standards. Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestComplete). Knowledge of testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and test management processes. Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla. Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
