The role involves working on passwordless authentication, QR codes, biometrics, and risk-based omni-channel MFA capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT Security and AWS cloud services, with proficiency in Python scripting and general application development. Knowledge of JavaScript, front-end technologies, Web Services, and MFA is a plus. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Native Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology solutions to implement the next-generation, cloud-native security stack across our organization. You will be instrumental in developing future state technology to replace current solutions for various Authentication (Authn) and Authorization (Authz) methods. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced security solutions, focusing on passwordless authentication, QR codes, biometrics, and risk-based omni-channel Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications. Utilize AWS cloud services, including AWS CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, and Glue, to enhance security measures. Write and maintain scripts using Python to automate security processes and workflows. Contribute to general application development, with a focus on integrating security best practices. Work with tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo) to streamline development and deployment processes. Qualifications: Strong background in IT Security and AWS cloud services. Proficiency in AWS CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, and Glue. Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python. General application development experience.
