Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled GRC Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a GRC Analyst, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's governance, risk, and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will have experience working with risk management tools, assessing regulatory compliance, and ensuring that the organization adheres to internal and external policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of governance, risk, and compliance strategies across the organization.
Conduct regular risk assessments and evaluations of the companys business processes, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Monitor and track regulatory changes, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws, standards, and regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST).
Develop, review, and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effective risk management practices.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to address risk and compliance-related issues.
Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Create risk and compliance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and any issues that require management attention.
Assist in developing and delivering training on risk management and compliance practices to staff.
Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
Stay informed of best practices, trends, and tools related to governance, risk, and compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a GRC or risk management role, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
Experience working with GRC software/tools (e.g., RSA Archer, MetricStream, or similar).
Knowledge of risk management processes, methodologies, and frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risk and compliance issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:
