The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD), Passenger Name Records (PNR), and Electronic Tickets (ETKT). This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and a deep understanding of airline reservation and ticketing systems. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather and document business requirements. Analyze, define, and document business processes related to airline reservations, ticketing, and customer service operations. Provide expertise in EMD, PNR, and ETKT functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. Work with developers and system architects to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to identify potential process improvements. Assist in the testing of system changes and enhancements, including writing test cases and conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Ensure compliance with airline industry standards and regulations in system implementations and upgrades. Support post-implementation troubleshooting and optimization efforts. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process workflows, use cases, and system requirement specifications. Provide training and support to end-users on new system functionalities and enhancements. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on airline industry projects. Proficiency with EMD, PNR, and ETKT in the airline domain is mandatory. Strong understanding of airline reservation, ticketing, and revenue management systems. Experience with GDS (Global Distribution Systems) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Rally. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Experience in writing business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
