The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, security, and automation within the GCP ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions Key Responsibilities: Architect and Design Cloud Solutions Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Define cloud migration strategies for legacy applications and on-prem infrastructure. Develop multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies as needed. Infrastructure & Deployment Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation for automation. Optimize networking, compute, and storage resources for performance and cost efficiency. Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments. Security & Compliance Ensure cloud solutions comply with security best practices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA). Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies and zero-trust security models. Conduct risk assessments and establish disaster recovery strategies. Microservices & Containerization Design and deploy Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and serverless architectures. Optimize cloud-native applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitoring & Optimization Use GCP-native monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging) for observability. Implement cost optimization techniques to ensure efficient cloud resource utilization. Collaboration & Leadership Work with developers, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into the development lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Stay updated with the latest GCP services, tools, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with 5+ years specifically in GCP. Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery. Experience in modernizing applications using microservices and serverless architecture. Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools. Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and IAM best practices. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for cloud application development. Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitOps, or Cloud Build. Familiarity with data pipelines and analytics tools (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
