Hello Professionals, We have openings for: Role: Azure Data Engineer Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid (Day Shifts, No Travel Required) Job Type: Contract Required Skills: Agile Methodologies Microsoft Azure (Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage) SQL DevOps Cloud Technologies (Azure Cloud Solutions) Nice to Have Skills: Spark Power BI Power Apps Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide insights for improved decision-making. Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using various Azure services: Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks. Take part in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering (infrastructure, network, security, administration), ingestion, data preparation, data modeling, testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, deployment, BI, alerting, and production support. Work collaboratively within a team and also independently when required. Contribute as part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product. Implement both batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies. Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and privacy/security guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of software solution development experience using agile and DevOps practices, in a product model involving large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. 3+ years of data analytics experience using SQL. 2+ years of experience in cloud development and working with data lakes (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. Experience with development, administration, and support in the following: Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix, SQL Data Platforms: Teradata, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, Azure Functions. CI/CD Tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in software solution development, with a focus on agile, DevOps, and product models for large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. 3+ years of experience in data analytics with SQL. 3+ years of experience in cloud development, particularly in data lake environments, using Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, etc. Airline Industry Experience (Preferred). Skills, Licenses & Certifications: Expertise with the Azure Technology Stack for data management, ingestion, processing, curation, and creating consumption layers. Expertise in providing practical direction within Azure Native Cloud Services. Azure Development Track Certification (Preferred). Spark Certification (Preferred).
