This role covers system configuration, security, automation, and infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities: System & User Management: Install, configure, and maintain applications and OS. Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory. Security & Monitoring: Implement firewalls, security patches, and vulnerability management. Use Precise and Splunk for monitoring and logging. Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance; optimize for maximum efficiency. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Patch & Documentation: Oversee monthly patching (via Kyndryl) and maintain configuration documentation. Automation: Utilize Power to automate routine tasks (e.g., health checks, app installs). Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure regulatory compliance and support capacity planning. Collaborate with network admins on connectivity and configuration. Technical Environment: OS & Versions: Amazon Linux, Linux Oracle, Linux Red Hat, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016 Datacenter, 2019 Datacenter/Standard) Infrastructure: Servers: Physical and virtualized; provisioning and patching managed by Kyndryl.
