The ideal candidate must have experience working with Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD), Passenger Name Records (PNR), or Electronic Ticketing (ETKT). Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to airline operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Work closely with IT teams to translate business needs into functional specifications. Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with airline industry regulations and best practices. Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training as needed. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the airline industry. Hands-on experience with EMD, PNR, or ETKT. Strong understanding of airline reservation and ticketing processes. Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with airline GDS systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport). Familiarity with IATA standards and airline revenue accounting. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with on-site presence required in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL.
