Data Warehouse Architect Lansing, MI No H1B Our esteemed client is seeking an adept Data Warehouse Architect to join an innovative team. If you're passionate about data security, management, and architecture, this might just be the ideal role for you! Roles and Responsibilities Craft and oversee complex Linux security models for DW ETL servers to ensure data integrity and secure access. Manage and authorize Teradata security and access, ensuring a safe data environment. Maintain complex Common Batch Frameworks and Schedulers to provide reliable data for business-critical decisions. Oversee Data Warehouse change management and code promotions, performing engineering tasks for manual and automated processes. Migrate multiple MDHHS Data Warehouses to common processes for enhanced efficiency across program areas. Set and uphold DW standards and processes, aligning with SOM policies and procedures. Conduct audits for elevated access and user activities to maintain stringent security measures. Mitigate identified audit findings and contribute to SSPs for comprehensive security solutions. Ensure Data Warehouse Continuity Planning and rigorous testing for sustained operational readiness. Provide technical support for complex Data Warehouse issues, ensuring swift resolutions. Required Experience Proven experience supporting State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses. At least 12 years of expertise in Teradata operations. A minimum of 10 years of SQL proficiency. 10+ years of hands-on scripting experience. 5 years of proficient Linux experience. Skilled in loading data from diverse source systems efficiently. Experience in providing focused training and technical guidance to development teams for better batch support. Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
