Location: Remote Bellevue, WA, US Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on data pipeline development and optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python (specifically PySpark), SQL, Apache Airflow, and Azure, with Databricks experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and SQL. Implement and manage Apache Airflow workflows for data orchestration and automation. Work with Azure cloud services to manage and optimize data storage, processing, and transformation. Leverage Databricks (preferred) for big data processing and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, quality, and integrity. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data pipelines for performance and reliability. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Python, specifically with PySpark for data processing. Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets. Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, etc.). Databricks experience (preferred) for scalable big data processing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
