Role: P/AlloyDB Expert Location: Hartford, CT Hybrid Type: Contract Required Skills: Google Cloud AlloyDB Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using P services. Develop and manage AlloyDB for PostgreSQL instances, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and database services. Stay updated with the latest P and AlloyDB features and best practices. Required skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience with P services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery. Expertise in AlloyDB for PostgreSQL, including deployment, configuration, and performance tuning Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desired skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Terraform for automation is desired. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices P certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer). Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
