The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure and Cloudera platforms, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of hybrid cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and government compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage hybrid infrastructure solutions for US government projects. Implement and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Work with Cloudera platforms to support big data and analytics workloads. Hybrid Environment Support: Manage and optimize hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services. Ensure seamless connectivity and data flow between on-premises systems and cloud platforms. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices for government environments, ensuring compliance with standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks. Automation and DevOps: Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Security). Hands-on experience with Cloudera platforms for big data and analytics. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Power, Python, Bash). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar. Knowledge of government compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA). Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator). Experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar big data platforms. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
