Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Core Banking domain to join our team in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will have 11-12 years of experience managing banking technology projects, driving digital transformation, and overseeing large-scale core banking system implementations. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring successful project delivery, and aligning with business objectives within the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for core banking technology initiatives, including system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the project.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered successfully.
Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee risk management, identify potential project risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Manage project scope, ensuring that changes or adjustments to the project are tracked and aligned with business goals.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, industry standards, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reviews with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Prepare and deliver project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Manage and resolve issues, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining project momentum.
Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring and guiding junior project managers and team members as necessary.
