Hi , We're reaching out to you regarding an exciting and immediate opportunity for a highly skilled M365 Platform Engineer with deep M365 Platform to join our team in Culver City,CA Job Title: Sr. Engineer, M365 Platform (Migration Expert) Location: Culver City, CA About the Role: The Sr. Engineer, M365 Platform (Migration Expert) will be a key member of the team responsible for the design, implementation, management, maintenance, and security of SPE's Microsoft 365 (M365) platform. This role will focus heavily on a tenant-to-tenant migration and requires deep expertise in M365 migration strategies and tools. The Sr. Engineer will collaborate with operations teams to optimize and secure M365 product suites, including identity, communications, collaboration, analytics, advanced technology, productivity tools, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in cloud services, a passion for improving user experiences through innovative technology solutions, and a commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities: System Engineering (50%): Design, implement, and manage M365 services in accordance with global and SPE security policy requirements. Lead the tenant-to-tenant migration, defining the solution, steps, approach, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Monitor and troubleshoot M365 platform issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Manage outages, identify root cause analyses, and resolve M365 platform issues within established SLAs. Proactively identify and remediate security risks related to the platform and product suites. Develop and maintain documentation for M365 configurations, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with IT and business units to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Maintain expertise in M365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc. Leverage Power scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation and management. Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to strategic planning for future M365 initiatives. Develop key performance metrics to demonstrate the business value of IT. Conduct user training and provide technical support. Evaluate and recommend different migration tools for M365. IT Operations Support (20%): Primarily responsible for SPE's M365 tenant. Manage outages, identify root causes, and resolve M365 issues within established SLAs. Participate in change control processes. Participate in the development of operational procedures and policies. Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders. Other Responsibilities (30%): (This section can be customized based on specific needs) Project Management related to M365 initiatives. Building and maintaining positive relationships with IT organizations, clients, and vendors. Problem management and resolution. Development of technical solutions. Ensuring compliance with company policies. Qualifications: Essential Skills: 10+ years of experience in Office 365/M365 administration. Proven experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations. Deep understanding of M365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, etc.). Strong Power scripting and IaC skills. Experience with M365 security and compliance. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with various M365 migration tools. Project management experience. ITIL certification. Experience in a large enterprise environment.
