Title- Data architect Location- Wilmington, DE ( 5 Days Onsite every week) Locals Only Type: Contract Exp:10+ yrs Job Descriptions: Designing and developing data models that define how data is stored, processed, and accessed. This includes creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Designing solutions to integrate data from various sources within the organization, ensuring that data from different systems can be combined and used cohesively. Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations. Optimizing data systems for improved performance, ensuring that data can be accessed and processed efficiently. Establishing data governance frameworks and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with policies and regulations. Developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that aligns with business processes. Planning and executing data migration projects, moving data from legacy systems to new platforms. Skills: Expertise in data modelling techniques and database design principles using ERWIN and other data model tool. Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance regulations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
