Title: SAP Fico Architect Location: New York Mills, NY 13417 ONSITE Job Type: 6-12 Months Minimum Work Experience: 12 15+ years Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) Detailed Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to work within its Application Service Delivery Team. This candidate will primarily be responsible for providing Level 2 support for SAP applications. The individual will have a concentration in (but will not be limited to) supporting the Finance business in SAP applications with a primary focus on SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and Procurement modules along with integration points with the MM module. Daily functions will include file monitoring of batch interfaces, root cause analysis, prioritization and resolution of production issues. The individual will work on resolving Service Requests, Incidents, and Change and Problem Management tickets. Partner with various IT teams to provide application documentation, participate in maintenance testing, DR testing, and release of changes into the production environment. This role will assume responsibilities for support & maintenance of our SAP ECC 6.0 system which is in live with SAP GL, AP, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. Other modules in our SAP environment is SAP Business Warehouse. Strong technical knowledge in the disciplines mentioned below are a pre-requisite, as well as excellent analytical reasoning and practical decision-making, combined with an ability to communicate across a broad range of business functions and at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities: Expertise in General Ledger, Book Close, Tax, AP, Consolidation, Cost elements, Profit Centers, Orders, Fixed Assets, and other facets of the FI and CO modules. Involves review of business processes and system integration challenges Guide and train Business Users supporting SAP solutions. Support the configuration and training of Power Users, including technical training and functional training. Facilitate knowledge transfer, communication, and documentation.
