The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, integrating NoSQL databases, and optimizing search functionalities. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications for data-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and backend applications. Design and optimize data models and queries using Apache Cassandra for high availability and scalability. Implement Elasticsearch for indexing, full-text search, and analytics. Optimize database performance, replication, and caching strategies. Work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Troubleshoot and debug performance issues in distributed systems. Ensure high code quality and follow best practices for CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps teams for containerization and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Implement security best practices for data integrity and API security.Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot development. Strong expertise in Apache Cassandra (data modeling, CQL queries, replication). Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, performance tuning). Experience in designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases. Strong knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI). Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.Nice to Have Experience with Search Engine Tuning for Elasticsearch. Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or other caching mechanisms. Exposure to big data processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, or Hadoop. Familiarity with Graph databases (Neo4j, JanusGraph). Experience in log analysis and monitoring tools (Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus).Education & Certification Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in Java, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra (preferred).
