Job Description: Splunk Expert (On-Premises) Location : New York City NY (Onsite, 5 days a week) Duration - 6 months MOI Skype then Onsite Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Splunk Expert to manage and optimize our on-premises Splunk environment. This position is critical in ensuring the security and performance of our IT infrastructure, which supports highly sensitive systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Splunk (on-premises), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Antivirus management, and Threat Management to support our security operations. Key Responsibilities : Splunk Expertise : Manage, configure, and maintain the on-premises Splunk deployment, ensuring high performance and security. Develop and optimize Splunk queries, dashboards, and alerts to monitor and analyze security events and system health. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk data ingestion, performance, and scalability. Ensure data integrity and security compliance within the Splunk platform. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) : Implement and maintain MFA solutions across the organization's systems and applications. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of MFA for both end-users and administrators. Antivirus Management : Oversee antivirus software deployment, configuration, and management to protect the organization's endpoints. Monitor antivirus logs and address any emerging threats or vulnerabilities. Threat Management : Identify, analyze, and respond to security threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with the security team to implement proactive threat management strategies. Create detailed incident reports and recommendations for remediation. Qualifications : Strong expertise in Splunk (on-premises) installation, configuration, and management. Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies and best practices. Proficiency in Antivirus management and endpoint security protocols. Proven experience in Threat Management and security incident response. Strong understanding of security policies and compliance, particularly in sensitive environments. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
